Advertising giant,merged with media company,further strengthens merger efforts

Advertising giant MergerTech has completed the merger with media conglomerate Merriweather Post-Puffin (MPRP), which will combine its business in online and print advertising and news and entertainment.
The merger is expected to close in the second half of 2019, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The merger, which will create a company called MerriWeather Post-Pluffin, will combine the company’s business in digital, print and mobile advertising, the statement said.
The company will continue to own the brands MerriPuff and Post-Fancy.
“We’re excited to announce the merger, and look forward to expanding the Merri Weather Post-Post brand and working with our media and digital partners to provide new opportunities and further enhance the Merritt Post-Herald brand,” MerriWash CEO John Lattner said in the statement.
“The merger with MerriPress will provide a much-needed new business and platform to the brand.
The Merri Press brand and its brands will continue in the Merrilweather Post Publishing division, with the intent to provide content and news for MerriPublica and other local newspapers and publications.”
Merriweather is an ad tech company that operates the MerrisOnline and MerriOnline mobile applications.
MerriWire is an advertising network that offers local, national and international media companies a way to reach their audiences.
