The author of the ad, who is named David, also said that the book would be released on July 1.
It’s a common strategy for book publishers to create fake advertisements in an effort to grab headlines and generate buzz.
In the United States, a book ad will typically run about six to eight seconds on the air and be followed by a text message that the viewer is invited to fill in.
In Europe, publishers have used this tactic to generate headlines and interest in the book.
In 2015, for example, a fake copy of The Social Contract was posted on the cover of a French newspaper, according to a study published in November.
In Italy, the advertising agency Lazio has been accused of using a fake ad to attract new book buyers.
It is unclear if the ad in question was fake or not.
